The collection includes the raw data for the documentary on Black Domestic Workers in New Orleans; versions of the film through the final one that was given its premiere performance at the New Orleans Museum of Art, February 25, 1981, Stern Auditor; and other items generated by the project. Gary Goldman was chief investigator and producer of the film. Amistad Research Center was sponsor of the project. Names of persons interviewed include Wilma Holmes Bass, Evelyn Bennett, Clara Fisher, Virginia Holland, Mary Jackson, Lottie Mae, Rosie Pierce, Wilma Sarazin, Caroline Sontheimer, and Shirley Washington.
